...this blog. Bari here. I will probably be the main moderator of this blog (which is funny, because I'm not the one with an English Degree) so forgive me if there are silly grammar and spelling things (like I totally just misspelled grammar, God bless that red squiggle). Hopefully I can get Salome to chime in every once in a while.
I imagine most of you reading this already know who we are as I probably told you about this blog myself. However, in case you don't, here is some background information. I am a fresh graduate from McMurry University where I earned a degree in Life Science. I enjoy coloring, One Piece, and eating. I participate in the sport of extreme sleeping. Salome is also a graduate from McMurry University where she earned a degree in English. She enjoys opera, writing and purple. She does not participate in extreme sleeping (much to my disappointment). Together we are MaeBari.
We are about to embark on the adventure of our lives (what I like to call a life adventure) to the Seattle area. Neither of us have ever been but we have always wanted to (I once went to Vancouver, BC, they're similar right?). With us we will be taking our cats, Myka and Jinks (named lovingly after Warehouse 13 characters). We will be driving the nearly 2000 miles in our little Honda Accord with our two cats (which should be a whole other adventure on it's own). Along the way we will be making a stop in Santa Fe so Salome can see her family. Our goal is to leave this Friday (5/29/15). Stay in Santa Fe through Sunday so Salome can go to a family event and then be in Seattle by Tuesday or Wednesday. Our time in Abilene is drawing to a close oh so quickly. We will miss the people that have become our family but we are both very excited for this new chapter in our lives. And so until we meet again...
